My name is Cynthia Mae (Winter) Bushey. Growing up, I lived on the Saginaw Bay swimming, fishing, and enjoying all it had to offer with my dad. He loved the bay! Now over 40 years after his passing, I find myself living once again by this beautiful body of water. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Eric Bushey, and we had two children, Lydia and Luke. Lydia is married to Jacob Schneider and we are expecting our first grandchild soon. Luke is still finishing his degree in civil engineering. His girlfriend, Alisha Schuman, has her degree in public health. Life has had many blessings for our family lately. Family to me is “part of my story” because we are all interconnected.

My degree from Central Michigan University was in speech and language pathology. However, when my son was a baby, I started walking down a different path that God laid out for me. My areas of interest lead to aromatherapy, teaching yoga and mindfulness, and wellness coordinating. I run a corporate wellness program and have done this for the past 20 years now. It fills my days with much joy in doing something that I love and contributes to the lives of others.
I want to share this beauty and mystery with you. My special areas of interest are in teaching breath prayer workshops and helping people connect their hearts to God through nature, movement, and digging into His Word, with the addition of the Hebrew word pictures that are painted in the bible. I hope you will check out my workshops and blog. We have so much to explore. I will be teaching you about your mind-body, breathwork, and how the “ancient path” still relates to us today.
With much lovingkindness, Cynthia Bushey, lover of God’s beautiful Creation
