In the hebrew language, however, the word is the actual definition of the Name. In Isaiah 12:2, we read, "Behold God is my salvation, Yeshua, ישועה; I will trust , and not be afraid ; for the Lord Jehovah, יהוה, is my Strength, and my Song; he also is become my Salvation. If you read from the e-sword, look at number #H344, you will see the name Yeshua , meaning Deliverance, Aid, Victory, Prosperity, Health and Help. From ancient hebrew you will see the letters שע, connected to Watch, Shepherd, and Delight. It paints a picture of a Shepherd that watches out for danger over his flock. The Shepherd watches and DELIGHTS in HIS Sheep. In Isaiah 62:4, we also see a Hebraic Name meaning DELIGHT, Hephzibah, Strong's Number #H2657 חפצי-בה, "my DELIGHT is in her", coming from a root word #H2656, חפץ, meaning pleasure, desire, a valuable thing. Isaiah 62:4 reads, "Thou shalt no longer be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be called "Hephzibah", and thy Land Beulah,( #H1166, ba'al, master, coming from a root word, #H1166, to marry/be a husband), for the Lord DELIGHTETH in thee, and thy land shall be married. It continues in verse 5 to say "For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the Bridegroom rejoiceth over a bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. How beautiful to imagine our Bridegroom, Yeshua, rejoicing over us, His bride. I used to have a picture in my Frankenmuth house for years in my living room of a Groom dancing with his new bride. It is what I picture of my Yeshua, my eternal Bridegroom, delighting over me and you with singing. It makes my heart and soul sing. It never gets old. Even though I am in middle age now, I feel like this young bride, excited, waiting with anticipation for her wedding day, the marriage supper celebration of the Lamb, our Shepherd, DELIGHTING in heavenly bliss to celebrate now and in that eternal celebration. My earthly wedding to Eric was also truly the most beautiful day, and I can only imagine what union with our Father will be like. Our Bridegroom loves you my friend. He sings over YOU in DELIGHT also. One more verse from Zephaniah 3:17, "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty, he will save, he will rejoice over thee with JOY, he will rest in His love, he will JOY over thee with singing. Next time we will explore these two words of Joy in Zephaniah. Keep your oil ready for we do not know the day nor hour when the Father will give His Son the "go ahead" to come for His bride. Even Yeshua is waiting with anticipation. My heart tells me it will not be long. But if it is, your union with Him is one day closer than it was yesterday. Live today dreaming about your eternal wedding celebration and rejoice that Your Bridegroom sings the most beautiful love song over YOU!
